How can I make my coffee taste better?
Hello there Coffee Lover!
I'm glad you're interested in making your coffee taste better. Here are some tips that can help:
Start with fresh, high-quality coffee beans: Choosing freshly roasted, high-quality coffee beans can make a big difference in the taste of your coffee.
Grind your coffee fresh: Grinding your coffee just before brewing can help preserve the flavour and aroma. A burr grinder can give you the most consistent grind. Don’t stress if you don’t have a grinder. We usually say that if you'll go through a bag of pre-ground coffee within 2 weeks, you should be fine to have it pre-ground from our shop =)
Use the right water: The water you use can affect the taste of your coffee. If your tap water has a strong taste or odor, consider using filtered or bottled water.
Use the right ratio of coffee to water: The recommended ratio is usually 15g of coffee per 250ml of water, but you can adjust to your liking.
Brew at the right temperature: The optimal brewing temperature for coffee is between 90-96°C. Use a thermometer to make sure your water is at the right temperature.
Experiment with brewing methods: Different brewing methods can bring out different flavours in coffee. Try French press, espresso, pour-over, or cold brew to find your favourite taste.
Add flavours: You can add flavours such as cinnamon, vanilla, or chocolate to your coffee. A little bit can go a long way in enhancing the taste. Remember, the best coffee is the one that makes you smile =)
Experiment with milk and sweeteners: Milk or cream, honey or sugar, can also improve the taste of your coffee. Try different combinations to find what you like best.
Remember, the taste of coffee is subjective, so don't be afraid to experiment and find your favourite method.
Wishing you an amazing day!
